Why Do We Need Waffle Speaker Grilles

Waffle speaker grille, as its name implied, is characterized by convex structures to protect your valuable drivers from impact incurred during transportation and stage performance. They are constructed of black steel mesh and thick vinyl rubber edge that damps vibration effectively.

A black waffle speaker grille is fixed using clamps and screws to cover a subwoofer.

Black waffle speaker grilles are ideal for covering and protecting subwoofers.

Normally, waffle speaker grilles can be manufactured with a small depth of 3/8" to suit moderate excursion demand of guitar speakers and midrange speakers; meanwhile, it is available in depth of 5/8" or 3/4" to ensure clearance from high excursions.
